A Warm September

Susanne picking through the pumpkins at Twin Pines near Thedford, Ont.
A great start to the Fall

This fall has been a really nice one. They are talking of high temps again this week. I am heading up to the lake again today to enjoy the weather for a few days. Susanne and I have spent a good amount of time this month at the lake. Susanne always says the fall is her favourite season and this one is turning out to be a good one. We have done more sailing in the past month than all of June and July combined.....considering we missing a week at the lake due to our daughters wedding. June and July seemed to be the rainy season this year and we lost the whole month of May at the lake due to dredging of the slips. I normally have my boat out by now but have delayed haul out till Thanksgiving...seems I am really making up for the late start to the season.....cheers.....George

Susanne and Grace, our granddaughter picking apples in Byron last week. We squeezed a lot into our Monday through Friday work week...picking apples, pumpkins and a few lazy days at the boat.
Looking for the best apples.
Susanne found three stacking pumpkins for our daughter Nicole. By the time we got to the boat the car was full....no room to take boat stuff home on that trip to the lake.
