During my working years it used to be a designated location along the railway's right of way, now it is a location along the roadway`s of my future. Mile Marker 49 is actually at Marathon, located in the Florida Keys. A good place to take aim at I would think. This view is a sunset sail with my daughter Jessica who had come up for a summer weekend in 2005.

GBYC Race Day 2004
I took this photo from Copout our Tanzer 26 during a Fall 2004 GBYC race in Grand Bend, Ont.. Well as you can see no one is going anywhere fast. The whole fleet was hanging around the start line just drifting along...better days ahead...George
