Follow along with George Dutka views of current and past photos, along with thoughts and discoveries. Mile Marker has a dual meaning. During my working years it used to be a designated location along the railway's right of way, now it is a location along the roadway`s of my future. Mile Marker 49 is actually at Marathon, located in the Florida Keys. A good place to take aim at I would think. This view is a sunset sail with my daughter Jessica who had come up for a summer weekend in 2005.

I had a few opportunities to photograph this gentleman and his friend as the slowly motor along the inlet at Mystic during my visit back in 2011. One can see another of the many wooden classic sailboats found in Mystic...George
