Mile Marker 49

Follow along with George Dutka views of current and past photos, along with thoughts and discoveries. Mile Marker has a dual meaning. During my working years it used to be a designated location along the railway's right of way, now it is a location along the roadway`s of my future. Mile Marker 49 is actually at Marathon, located in the Florida Keys. A good place to take aim at I would think. This view is a sunset sail with my daughter Jessica who had come up for a summer weekend in 2005.

July 10th Bayfield Sunset

This is the scene maybe 10 minutes after the sunset...one of the better views of the season.

Once again I sat on the hill looking out at a Lake Huron sunset. On this Friday night there was a nice group of boats out watching the event. Although the sunset is great the aftereffect was just as great...George
