Mile Marker 49

Follow along with George Dutka views of current and past photos, along with thoughts and discoveries. Mile Marker has a dual meaning. During my working years it used to be a designated location along the railway's right of way, now it is a location along the roadway`s of my future. Mile Marker 49 is actually at Marathon, located in the Florida Keys. A good place to take aim at I would think. This view is a sunset sail with my daughter Jessica who had come up for a summer weekend in 2005.

Great Lake Lighthouses

The two lighthouses found in sight of each other in Southampton, Ont. are lined up for a group shot. The one off in the distance is actually on an island and can be visited by boat tour.

On my trip up to Southampton I stopped in to two of the area lighthouses. I had visited these sites before but always worth another look...George
