Mile Marker 49

Follow along with George Dutka views of current and past photos, along with thoughts and discoveries. Mile Marker has a dual meaning. During my working years it used to be a designated location along the railway's right of way, now it is a location along the roadway`s of my future. Mile Marker 49 is actually at Marathon, located in the Florida Keys. A good place to take aim at I would think. This view is a sunset sail with my daughter Jessica who had come up for a summer weekend in 2005.

Year Three Begins

Summer time flowers are found along Bayfield's lakefront basin during July this year.

August 1st marks the beginning for year three of Mile Marker 49 blogging. At times the posts have been thin while during the summer month while at the lake I find more motivation to continue on. Hope you follow along as we are now half way through the summer with a lot more to share...George
