Mile Marker 49

Follow along with George Dutka views of current and past photos, along with thoughts and discoveries. Mile Marker has a dual meaning. During my working years it used to be a designated location along the railway's right of way, now it is a location along the roadway`s of my future. Mile Marker 49 is actually at Marathon, located in the Florida Keys. A good place to take aim at I would think. This view is a sunset sail with my daughter Jessica who had come up for a summer weekend in 2005.

Goderich Waterfront Inuksuk

Built along the shoreline I doubt they will survive the winter storms. Guess we won`t get a chance to find out, the town has ordered them removed for safety reasons...some are as large as we are.

I took a ride down to the beach at Goderich on Saturday after visiting the farmers market and to my surprise it seems the locals have been busy building Inuksuk...George

There are 100`s of Inuksuk built along the shoreline.
