Thunderbird car show - Bayfield

On display on Main St. Bayfield.
On Sunday the theme changes from GM to Ford and a collection of Thunderbirds took over the park. Unfortunately I could not make it back for this but some bird's arrived early and could be found around town. One of the 1950's Vette owners was bringing his bird the next day...some guys...George

Had to get a photo with this one.

Vette Fest 2017 - Bayfield, Ont.

One of my favorite.
On Saturday the annual Corvette festival happens in the main park on Hwy 21 Bayfield, Ontario. This year I am guessing was the largest collection of Vette's...enjoy the views...George

Nicole and Susanne posing with a 1950's vintage Corvette.

An interesting door setup.

Monday at the lake

On the beach Owen is getting into the swing of summer.
Monday I finally got my boat out for the first time of the season. I had been out a number of times on our old boat Copout so the new owner can get a feel of things...now it is time for Trekker to do its thing...George

The gang on the beach at Bayfield.

Not sure if skate boards are allowed at the pool...but Owen appears to have no problems.

July 1st

Susanne Nicole and William all get a hug. Lots of red for Canada Day 150.
The gang gathered at our daughters home for some burgers on Canda Day 150. Was nice to see a few friends that we had not been together with for a bit...then off to the lake on Sunday...George

James and Kim joined us for dinner.

Jessica with the gang get in on a group photo.

Beaufort, South Carolina

A typical front porch in town.
It is about a year and one half since we visited Beaufort, South Carolina. Beaufort is a seaport on the inter-coastal along highway 17. It is a short drive over from Charleston, SC. Old Bay Marketplace is a good stop in town. It also known as the Queen of the Carolina Sea Islands and the mile marker on the ICW is 536.3. Beaufort pronounced (bew-fort) is the second oldest city in SC. It also was founded before Savannah and discovered before Charleston. Here are a few views from our visit during November 2015...George Dutka

A look out at the inter-coastal waterway.

Another of the heritage homes.
Cotton ball wreaths are common in this area.

The moss covered trees that line the streets in town.
