Mile Marker 49

Follow along with George Dutka views of current and past photos, along with thoughts and discoveries. Mile Marker has a dual meaning. During my working years it used to be a designated location along the railway's right of way, now it is a location along the roadway`s of my future. Mile Marker 49 is actually at Marathon, located in the Florida Keys. A good place to take aim at I would think. This view is a sunset sail with my daughter Jessica who had come up for a summer weekend in 2005.

Visit to Grand Bend Today

All the boats are out at the GBYC.

I took a drive to Grand Bend to walk the beach and check out how the haul out went at the GBYC yesterday. Looks like all the boats are out. Lots of color today as I am thinking the tree colors are about peak now on the drive up...till arriving at the Bend still lots of green...George

A pretty nice walk on the beach resulting in a good find of beach glass. I even found a heart shaped rock.
