Mile Marker 49

Follow along with George Dutka views of current and past photos, along with thoughts and discoveries. Mile Marker has a dual meaning. During my working years it used to be a designated location along the railway's right of way, now it is a location along the roadway`s of my future. Mile Marker 49 is actually at Marathon, located in the Florida Keys. A good place to take aim at I would think. This view is a sunset sail with my daughter Jessica who had come up for a summer weekend in 2005.

After launch I stayed over two nights. By the second evening I had the main on, dingy in and bimini and dodger on...well under way to another season.

Trekker went in late this year due to lots of rain and cold days. I decided to stay over the night the launch happens...nice sunset.

Malibu Restaurant

Saturday Breakfast

Yesterday we had breakfast at the Malibu Restaurant on Wonderland road. There is two in town now. The original on Dundas St. was sold. The original owners decided to open this one up in the west end of town. Anyhow the food was great and plentiful. The lunch and diner menus look good also...thinking a return trip is in order...George

Might be my next breakfast option.

Way too many home fries.
