A Saturday Night Moon

A moon lit view from the cockpit of my boat in Bayfield....tough to get a steady photo when there is some movement to the boat....thought it looked cool anyhow.
Devin and I spent Saturday night on the boat. We enjoyed a few drinks while we watched the sunset and moon rise from the back of the boat. I tried these shots from my boat and dock. They are time exposures that just could not be done clearly with the movement of the boat and floating dock......George

Looking through the masts from the floating docks.

Chev - Goderich

While checking out the Goderich Saturday Market Susanne and I came across this mint shape 1947 Chev pickup...we actually talked to the owner for a moment.......he sure was proud of his truck......as he should be.......George

A Late June Walk

Looking across the river in Bayfield I thought this was a nice view overlooking one of the fishing fleet at rest.
In the later part of  June I took a long walk after dinner from my boat up to the highway. I had my camera along and took a few photos of what I saw and liked.....here are two of those......George

A colorful view of some nice wildflowers or weeds whichever way you look at it that lines a portion of the path from the lake basin to the travel lift.

Funny Car

While on a walk last week this Fiat 500 passed by with a key attached to the trunk. It actually spun while it passed by......George

Dumb Sign

The old entrance to Harbour Lights has been closed and a new one built this spring. The boats for sale are now located along the old roadway. It appears the highway crews still had to mark the road as closed...and the sign has been here for a couple of months now....kind of a useless posting one would think....George

Canada Day 2014

Face painting with Grace....rainbow and maple leafs are common sights.
Yesterday we had all the kids and grandkids over for a BBQ followed by a trip to the Byron Complex for fireworks. It was Grace and Owens first experience watching the light show......George

Red shirts are the norm for Canada Day.
Owen and Grace check out the fire truck on display prior to the fireworks.
