A Burlington Saturday

On Saturday I was playing old timer basketball in Burlington, Ontario...we had a four hour break which gave me time to visit the bay area around Hamilton and Burlington...here are a few photos from my visit...George

Amelia's Flower Truck

Mattie hard at work with one of her vintage VW trucks. She always liked the name Amelia.

In the current issue of Better Homes and Gardens there was a small article about a neat flower business which is the brain child of a young lady of 25 years old in Nashville. She purchase a 1962 VW truck which is all restored from California and took it home to start a mobile flower business...you have to check out the days location on Facebook. It has turned out so well she now has three VW trucks in her fleet...enjoy the views...George

Season is winding down

I took a long walk on the beach the other day...thinking how many there might be left as the chill in the air is clearly here already...George

I see another heart rock in the midst of the smaller pebbles. I got a good haul of beach glass this day also...but that was easy since I was the only person on the beach.

Rainbow - Bayfield

On Tuesday evening once the rain and wind blew through Bayfield, a nice rainbow appeared over the marina with it appears the pot of gold at the end is headed to the boat Inheritance...George

This is how it looked most of the day on Tuesday in Bayfield. There has been a lot of odd weather the last few day...winds have been strong and shifty at times and the chance of rain.

Dark and Stormy

Back in August I visiting on Brad's boat Jill asked for a dark and stormy...a drink I had not tried. Brad made me up a short one which was really nice...here is how to make it...George

On Sunday the grand-kids arrived for a visit at Bayfield. A bit of time on the boat and a trip down to the lake edge to throw some stones...a windy-wavy day before a trip to the Goderich market...George
