Blue Diamond, Nevada

The sign says it all.
A town so small out in the desert that has more donkeys than people roaming around....not far from Vegas...George

The girls check out some of the neat homes.

Pomegranates growing along the homes and roadway.

Last week of Summer

Kyle and the grand-kids at the beach by our boat.
This last week of summer found me at the lake most of the days. First a day drive with Kyle and the grand-kids to play at the beach. Then with Susanne for a quiet couple of days. Friday Dee and the grand-kids are back up but the weather was too cool for the beach...off shopping in town and the playground...George

Playing in the sand

A little goofing off.

With the big wooden guy

Sunset on Labour Day weekend

Summer is Over

Not looking forward to this.

In Water Boat Show - Pt. Credit

The largest boat was this 60' $2.4 million used yacht...well over everyone's budget I would think.
Last Friday I attended the annual boat show in Pt Credit. I was surprised to see less than half of the booths and displays from past years...also no program tent. The slips were mostly empty with only three new boats on display. One was having some varnishing happening which kept everyone off...not sure if I will be returning next year...George

This boat was off limits while varnishing was going on. None of the boats beyond this one was part of the show...normally boats for sale went right to the end.
