Sarasota Waterfront

A few winters ago I took a early morning drive down to the Sarasota waterfront one morning before Susanne got up to check out the sailboats. We were staying in Siesta Key on the beach a 5-10 minute drive away. The boats were nice to see.....some I think are live-a-boards.....George

A sailing club at Sarasota has sailboats for rent if you want to take a sail through the harbor.
There was some nice looking boats on the moorings. As I walked the shoreline which actually is a nice park with paved  trails and benches one can find a number of dingy docks.
I am thinking this one is a live-a-board boat.

Fishing Fleet - Tarpon Springs

Tarpon Springs Florida is home to a large fleet of fishing and sponge collecting boats. One of the older wooden boats has a familiar name.....George

Florida Road Trip 2004-2005

Jamie took this photo of me fuelling our car. His car is in the bay number 4 partly hidden. I don't recall but I think we purchased a bag of oranges then as we are on our way home.
Almost 10 years ago our family did a road trip to Florida in two cars. There was 8 of us. We left early boxing day going down and came home a few days after New Years. One of the nice things along the I-75 in Florida was the piles of oranges and grapefruits found at the service centres...a nice thought while sitting home in piles of snow.....George

Fun Tub

The best tub for a boater is something that looks like a boat.
Hey if you like boats you might like a tub that looks like this one...kind of looks like a small wooden boat on the hard...don't you think.....George
